Your Purpose, Your Passions and You

As the pandemic continues to reshape our world, as previous generations have experienced, we too will emerge different. These past two years and counting, has given many of us permission to reflect, to dive back in to pursue who we are, what is our purpose, our passions.

“Find Your Passion” is a short story that will illustrate a structured path for you to follow in your own life’s story.

This section is dedicated to enable each person to know thyself, understand their purpose, recognize their gift, passions and to know how to respond when a different passion strikes!

*Please stay tuned as more is to come!

Is Your Image a Reflection of You?

Especially in today’s world, an image can temporarily kidnap ones self or worse, forever derail a person from knowing her/his self, purpose or finding contentment in a fulfilled life. Being true to oneself is easier said than done.

In the simplest of forms, it is predominately with honest intentions of either wanting to be accepted or approved by loved ones or peers, our desired path to follow can become skewed. Many, if not all of us, will explore and present various versions of ourselves. With this we can get lost. We can get lost trying to figure out who we are and our purpose. For some, this is where frustration enters or giving up or persevering.

A dear friend gave me a necklace with a pendant reading, “Those who wander are not necessarily lost.” This was comforting. Wandering with purpose is productive. Wandering without purpose can be frustrating and unproductive.

Silencing the noise that surrounds us, taking a meditative or reflective moment, share some time with our books, “The Great Connection” (TGC) and “Find Your Passion” (FYP).

You will see yourself and others in the TGC story’s characters. You will see the differences and similarities of each of the characters as well as why you and others behave the way they do!

FYP imparts a structure you can and will repeat throughout your life. First to apply the FYP structure to identify your purpose and your gift, but also the many passions that are in tandem. This self discovery can and will fuel your confidence to be you, a comfortable confident you.
